ten thousand

It’s the weekend before the last week of undergrad classes (still exams to go)…and that’s how many words I need to write. I’ve got about…6500 done? Not doing toooooo bad, but still MUCH work to be done.

In related news, I’ve finished the knitting of Lara with less than half of ball of yarn left. Perfect! Usually I over-order but this time it was just on. There are many ends to weave in, though, since the sweater used 14 balls of Alpaca Silk. Due to the crazy weather (it snowed today, lightly) I do believe I’ll get ti wear it next week.

Wish me luck, knitters. I’m going to need it.

Good luck with your schoolwork, Laura. I’m working on a paper right now (20 pages), and when it’s done I have two more to go — so I feel your pain. But it always gets done somehow, doesn’t it? You’ll be fine.

I’ve got sixteen pages to freedom. I’m currently bribing myself with a box of things from Elann.com to motivate myself.

Good luck! I’d love to see some pics soon as I ordered Alpaca Silk myself and I’d like to see how it knits up.

Congrats on the final stretch of classes and exams! I only have hazy memories of how crazy those last weeks of a semester were and it wasn’t that long ago.

Good luck! I can clearly remember those days of being juuust able to see the light at the end of the tunnel– and by that I mean the tunnel created by digging around in the insurmountable mound of papers and books… Congrats are in order, too ;)
