What can I say, it’s been busy around here! Between working and making the most of my time off (which ends tomorrow – sniff), I haven’t had much sit down and knit/spin time, and I’ve been working on some commission stuff, as well! But look! I have pictures!
First up, a bit of plain blue stockinette – the back of VBC. I’m nearing the armhole. This project is just right for stuffing into my Go Knit pouch, so I’ve managed to get a few rows done here and there.
And something I’ve been working during downtime at the store – using the oh-so-luscious Artyarns Supermerino in chocolate brown:
It wants to be a cardigan when it grows up – I’m working the back and fronts at the same time, so it’s a pretty honkin’ piece of knitting. I think I’m at about 11″ – I’ll probably do 13″ before setting it aside to work on the sleeves.
And a new skein – a neapolitan swirl! One of the plies is pink, white and brown, and the other is just white. Fun. I think I might take a break from my current spinning project to work up some more colourful yarn, since I’ve got a couple of dyed rovings just waiting for their turn!

I love the cardi wannabe. Can’t wait to see what it becomes when it grows up.:)
Is the Artyarns supermerino going to be a Jolie from Vintage Knits? I recognized the stitch pattern but then again you are a knitting superstar who might be making up her own pattern… have a great week!
I LOVE the neapolitan! Perfect mood for some summer knitting.
I love the diamond cardigan in chocolate brown! Mmm…
Your Neopolitan is pretty! As is that mysterious cardi.
