So I upgraded my WordPress to the latest version – it was hair-raising, I tells ya, worse than ripping mohair lace…anyway, I managed to upgrade more or less intact. Apparently there’s a fix in the feeds, but to my eye the rss2 file looks the same. I don’t think the other feed was really working either, although some people could subscribe to it; I really don’t know what to do about this.

Can I hire someone out there to fix it for me?

update: the feed is valid this time (before I’d get a 404 error) so hopefully it’s fixed! might still take bloglines a few days.

  • please hellllppppp

Well, I’ve been working on getting my feed to work for so long that the sun has gone down and I haven’t taken any pictures of the finished ASC tank. So ha, you’ll have to wait until tomorrow or possibly later tonight.

Sigh. I think the feed is working now, minimally (the link in the footer has been changed) but under its current code, I’ll have to hand code and update it every time I write an entry, and you’ll only get that the blog has updated and the entry’s title in bloglines.

It was so easy when I had Blogger, it did the feed automatically! WordPress is supposed to do it too, except for the fact that it just. don’t. work.

In conclusion, I’m frustrated and eating PC Dark Chocolate Peppermint melts while trying to figure out how I can get my php feed to work. In the meanwhile, Bloglines isn’t recognizing the new feed yet but give it a few days.

I haven’t been able to knit because of this stupid thing! Someone better help, or else there’s just not going to be a feed.

Knitting update later (when I’m calmer) or tomorrow.

  • the sweet smell of freedom..

So I’m done school for the time being – until the 16th, when I start summer session four days a week. Ouch. In the meantime – finish the licorice cardi, or Phildar jacket, both only hours away from completion? Nah.

I’m SO not in the mood for finishing work. The solution? A knit in the round tank, out of All Season’s Cotton, which shall be a fast knit with minimal finishing. Love it.

Oh, and I made another skirt!

Sorry for the lack of a modelled pic, but I’m not in the get-dressed-for-blog-pics mood. It’s the same pattern as last time (Butterick 3134, with modifications), but this time it was much, much faster to make, because it’s fresh in my mind what I need to be doing with it.

Since there’s so little knitting content, let’s take a look at the 100% cotton batik fabric, shall we?

One more thing…I know people are trying to subscribe on Bloglines, and my feed *still* isn’t beign recognized. Little help? Dani, could you maybe send me your rss2.php file so I can take a look and see if mine’s at all different?
