I managed to make up for lost time and then some – I’ve got one glove totally done, and the second is almost done the thumb gusset. Hooray!
And, ahem, I maaaay have started a sweater yesterday. Maybe.
I’ve decided, heck, why not join in the fun. I’ve chosen two smaller projects, events if you will, that I actually really need to get done!
First up are some new black gloves for handbells. We have a performance on Saturday the 20th (at Lee’s Palace!) so these would have to be done by then. Four inches done on the first one, but I’m planning on some hardcore knitting today.
My second project’s deadline is Saturday the 27th, it won’t come out until these gloves are done!
Through January 31, 50% of the purchase price of ALL cosmicpluto knits! patterns will be donated toward the Haiti relief effort! I’ve decided that it’s just easier from a bookkeeping end (kidding).
Since there will be more money to donate, I’ve decided that half of the proceeds will go to MSF as planned, and half will go to the Canadian Red Cross. Thanks so much to everyone who has already helped.
And so this isn’t another photoless post, a bit of knitting – a new mitten. I started these last night after thinking about them for ages, changed my mind on yarn and pattern a few times, then finally hit on the right combo.
