Sheesh, it’s frikkin’ HARD to take good pictures of oneself! Anyway, the results of the shrug photo shoot (the ones I deemed suitable for public viewing). Click for big, and notice how I’m wearing my eyelet skirt – it’s sooo comfy. Actually, I think I might wear it to class today if I can find my knee socks!

This one shows the shrug the best.

This one shows the skirt the best. The headlessness was unintentional – I needed to stack more books for the camera to sit on.

And finally, this one I just thought was pretty cute. And it shows the whole outfit.

  • gahhhh.

Good news first – I finished the turtleneck shrug.
    Then.

I cast on for the Zigzag bag that I had bought the kit for at the knitter’s fair. And the pattern is wrong, wrong, so very wrong! It has you cast on 158 sts, but the pattern row given is for 160 sts! Argh! And I was all hoping to get some done on it – I suppose I’ll have to figure it out myself, either cast on 160 or something……

is it so much to ask that a pattern, re-written by a store for sale, be correct (and after people have knit samples of it!)??

    Gahhhhhh.

  • rough day

Just a short post today, cuz I’m not feeling too great.

I finished the second sleeve of the turtleneck shrug and am about an inch and a bit into the actual turtleneck. I’ve been thinking though, what on earth am I going to wear it with? I’m thinking tank top, but who wears a turtleneck with a tank top? Oh well, I’ll figure out the logistics later.

I also finished the bottom leaf lace on the other front of Bella. It looks just like the last picture I posted of the front.

I’m itching to finish the shrug and get started on the Noro bag. And there’s my Mission Falls raglan, too. Perhaps that’ll continue to marinate for awhile.

    Ciao.
