Description
Perpendicular Pullover is a unique and fun to knit pullover with graphic stripes worked in different directions!
This front-to-back reversible boxy pullover is worked entirely in Garter stitch, with a thick and thin stripe pattern and long sleeves.
The horizontally striped side of the sweater is worked flat from the hem to the underarm, then divided for the front and back. In order to maintain the horizontal stripes, the sleeve is worked sideways from a provisional cast on. The cuff is picked up and worked in the round.
The vertically striped side is picked up and worked towards the side of the body, where the halves are joined with a Three-needle bind off. On this side, the sleeve picked up and worked in the round to the cuff.
The V-neck and hem are finished with tidy applied I-cord.
