So I split the top vertically all the way down the length, and spun each half separately from end to end.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.laurachau.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/wallwalla-3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"thumbnail aligncenter wp-image-4983\" src=\"http:\/\/www.laurachau.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/wallwalla-3.jpg\" alt=\"wallwalla-3\" width=\"640\" height=\"425\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Then I chain-plied the singles into a very light, 3ply yarn.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.laurachau.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/wallwalla-4.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"thumbnail aligncenter wp-image-4984 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.laurachau.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/wallwalla-4.jpg\" alt=\"wallwalla-4\" width=\"640\" height=\"964\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I thought I had done a pretty good job of splitting the top evenly, but one skein is 15g heavier than the other!
