I&#8217;m back today with a new pattern release &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/patterns\/library\/byway-cowl\">Byway Cowl!<\/a><\/p>\n<p>This cowl\/infinity scarf is an easy knit, but the combo of cables and lace creates an awesome texture-y look! Every other round is just knit and purl, and the pattern rows can be worked by just reading your knitting, once you&#8217;re set up. The lace and cable directions are given both as charts and row-by-row directions.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.laurachau.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/byway5-sm.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"thumbnail aligncenter wp-image-4523\" src=\"http:\/\/www.laurachau.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/byway5-sm.jpg\" alt=\"byway5-sm\" width=\"640\" height=\"964\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The purple version is knit in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lanternmoon.com\">Lantern Moon&#8217;s<\/a> beautiful Indochine silk &#8211; the single loop version takes just 2 skeins, the larger double loop uses 4 skeins.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.laurachau.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/byway2-sm.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"thumbnail aligncenter wp-image-4521\" src=\"http:\/\/www.laurachau.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/byway2-sm.jpg\" alt=\"byway2-sm\" width=\"640\" height=\"964\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve had this skein of handspun dyed by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shop.intothewhirled.com\">Into the Whirled<\/a> in my stash for ages, and Byway was the perfect project for it!
