  • It’s Friday

    I wish I were on my way to Maryland.

    But instead, I’m getting dressed to go to my Last. Exam. Ever. (okay, I won’t say Ever. But definitely the last for a long time!)

    Afterwards? Normally I’d treat myself to some yummy Indian food and some Ben&Jerry’s (I wonder if the B&J on Queen has Americone Dream?) but as I’m trying to keep the calories down, I must instead go shopping for some new pants that, you know, fit. And maybe some other fun stuff – like a trip to Lush!

    And when I come home, later…I can spin and knit and wash fleece and dye and do whatever the hell I want! It’s crazy, I tells ya!

  • holed up

    I’m panicking a bit about the TWO exams I have this week – one Thursday night and the other Friday afternoon. But pictures of the Frolic goodies shall come soon, promise!

    …and of course, I’m knitting along with the studying. It helps, really.

  • what’s that big yellow thing in the sky?

    It was beauuuuutiful here this weekend. Alas, I was stuck inside studying (although Friday I did go out for a short bike ride). Damn. Ah, well, many more nice days to come, right?

    I finished the knitting of the Balance cardi (hm, it needs a name):

    Now it just needs buttons! Seven for the front and one on each cuff. I love the picot hem.

    Yes, I know that the colour looks completely different in these photos from those in the last entry. Really none of them are right – it’s really this colour:

    Oh! One other thing though, I got some pretties in the mail. They’re from Ling Glass on Etsy. I looooove them, and I want others! The red leaf is 1.25 inches high.
