Description
Blantyre is a pretty lace cardigan worked in a DK-weight merino silk blend, with a V-neck and three-quarter sleeves.
The two lace patterns are simple and intuitive to work, with both charts and row by row directions given. The lace chain pattern is mirrored around the body, including the sleeves.
The body is knit flat in three pieces, which are seamed together with mattress stitch. The sleeve stitches are then picked up and the sleeves worked in the round to the cuff.
The hem, cuffs, and button bands are worked in garter stitch for a tidy finish.
