I started not one but TWO new projects yesterday, after completing my raglan up to putting the sleeves stitches on holders (hurrah for Denise!). I then checked the weather and realized that it was going be 28 celsius this week (I think that’s, what, 90 F?). HOT, HOT, HOT. And what am I doing? Knitting a wool sweater.
So I started Jenna, a cute little number free from berroco. She’ll be my last summery hurrah, before I *really* get involved in my fall/winter stuff. Of course I’ll probably knit a shell or sleeveless top somewhere in the next few months (maybe another Shapely Tank), but it won’t have that summery feeling.
I also finished the kitty hat for my sister – picture tomorrow, I think. I also started a top-down raglan top for her, with Sonata cotton from Elann – should go quickly. I had started double-stranded, but I realized that wasn’t a good idea, and shall commence ripping shortly.
I did make some progress on Bella as well. Check out Sharlene’s great progress on hers – August 23rd entry.
Sooo very tired tonight. Lamb’s Pride is now in stock, although there are a mess o’ colours that are backordered.
