Markdale Cardigan

Markdale Cardigan

Markdale is a breezy, seamless cardigan featuring elbow length lace sleeves and a casual fit. Stockinette and lace bands are easy to work and surpisingly quick to knit up. Markdale is perfect for making the most out of a few skeins of fingering weight yarn, and is a flattering layer over dresses and tees.

The lower body is worked flat from the hem to the underarm then joined with the sleeves to work the seamless raglan yoke. A simple round neck and ribbed bands complete the cardigan.

Meant to be worn with -2-0” / -5-0cm ease at the bust. For the best fit, measure a sweater you like the fit of, and make the size closest to it. Shown in size 37.5” / 94cm with about an inch of negative ease.
