Assam is an easygoing yet polished cardigan that’s perfect for hand-dyed or striping yarns. The side-to-side construction ensures that you’ll end up with flattering vertical lines. An easy fit and faux raglan shaping makes this the perfect throw-on-and-go sweater, but it’s polished enough for work, too. Wide seed stitch bands and three-quarter sleeves top off this classic cardigan.
Assam is knit in one piece from cuff to cuff, worked flat, beginning at the left sleeve and proceeding up the left sleeve, across the left front, back, right front, and then right sleeve. This cardigan doesn’t have buttons, but they can easily be added if desired.
Available in Afternoon Tea Volume Two.
