I knit this sweater ages ago (while it was still cold enough to wear it!) and just found the photos on my computer!

This was a simple sweater that I whipped up because I was in need of a black, everyday sort of cardigan. The yarn is one that I’d had in the stash for ages – Elsebeth Lavold Silky Cashmere, which I bought a whole whack of on sale. Here’s a post I wrote ages ago when I’d just started this project!
Anyway, I figured I might as well put up the photos even though it’s been months since I finished this. It’s a top down raglan with a v-neck, curved front hems and a garter rib edging all the way around. Simple, cozy, and entirely inappropriate for the 30C weather we’re having here today!

I’m fairly sure winter will come back around though. Right?
Hi Laura!
Your beautiful sweater!
How about you use your new project here? It’s winter here in Brazil but not like the cold is easy to solve, and only go up to the north / northeast of the country because there is never cold in winter is 32C and if you get tired of the heat go to the south there is almost … almost snowing rain water is freezing and creating landscapes never before seen by us brazilians. I live on the coast of St. Paul here is cold 19C
xx
Lovely sweater, lovely yarn, lovely colour. I know how it’s hard to imagine minus 30 degrees when it’s July in Toronto, but trust me, it’s coming eventually! Meanwhile, I hope you have air-conditioning.
Would love the pattern! The sweater is gorgeous.
Love the sweater! The edging is perfect.
Lovely sweater! I hope you’re going to write up the pattern!
Gorgeous sweater! I have so many of those projects where there’s either photos lying around on the computer, or I still need to take photos. It’s good to know I’m not the only one :)
What a pretty (and comfy looking) sweater! Undoubtedly winter will come again. I could really use a black cardigan.
Weather like this is how we manage each year to forget the Ontario winter. This is absolutely essential.

Are you publishing a pattern for this sweater?
I have been looking for something just like this– a classic, casual but updated look. Also, I love raglan-top-down construction. Thanks.
Will you be publishing the pattern? I LOVE it….
